The Houston Symphony’s summer tradition turns 25 years old this weekend! Spend your Independence Day eve taking in a selection of patriotic tunes at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. This event is completely free and perfect for patriots of all ages!

The Wizard of Oz at Miller Outdoor Theater

If you are looking for a relaxed way to start your weekend then, the Miller Outdoor Theater at Hermann Park should be on your agenda! At 8:30 there will be a free screening of the classic film “The Wizard of Oz”. Enjoy the great outdoors and a great movie at the same time!

Kidpendence Day

The Children’s Museum of Houston will be the place to be for anyone looking to spend some quality time with their kids on the fourth. Starting at 1:30 PM, there will be a flag presentation followed by a flag waving parade lead by the High Steppers Brass Band! Sparklers and kazoos will be available to all the children as well.

Fireworks at CityCentre

What is July 4th without some fireworks? CityCentre will be hosting a big blow out in celebration of America this Saturday! The Marcus Eldridge Band will kick things off at 7 PM and will be playing until 11 PM. At 9:30 PM there will be a huge fireworks show! All American Brunch at Pax Americana
