Real Living Karapasha Realty’s Favorite Places To Eat

Houston is a diverse city with a population made up of people from all over the world. Nothing represents this fact better than the amazing restaurant selection throughout the city. Almost every genre of cuisine you can imagine is represented by at least a few fantastic places to eat! Trying to narrow down the best restaurants in our great city is a nearly impossible task, but we here at Real Living Karapasha Realty have compiled a list of some of our favorites. Check out our picks below and be sure to sound off in the comments with your own favorites. We would love to try them for ourselves!

Napoli

Napoli

14743 Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77079

You can find terrific pizza in pretty much every corner of Houston. There are dozens upon dozens of places to grab a great slice, but as far as we are concerned nothing can beat the pizza at Napoli! Through the use of fresh ingredients and time-tested recipes, the food at Napoli has an exquisite and unique taste that you can’t find anywhere else! The great menu selection doesn’t stop at just pizza. For my money, there is no better meat sauce in the entire city! The atmosphere at Napoli is warm and proudly carries the vibe of a neighborhood favorite. The next time you have a craving for out of this world pizza or Italian food, consider Napoli. We think that you will thoroughly enjoy it!

El Real Tex-Mex Café

El Real Tex-Mex Café

1201 Westheimer Rd. Houston, TX 77006

There is no question, Houston and Tex-Mex go together like chips and salsa. Trying to pick just one Tex-Mex restaurant to highlight is beyond difficult, but I think we are all confident in choosing El Real! Located in the heart of Montrose, El Real is fashioned to look like an old movie theater on the outside and even has Westerns from years past playing on a loop on the big screen inside. As far as the food goes, you are sure to find all of your favorite Tex Mex classics in addition to unique dishes exclusive to El Real. I’ve never had a chile relleno as delicious as the one I had here! With an atmosphere just as suited for a date night as it is for a dinner with friends, El Real is not to be missed! Be sure to check out their unbelievable brunch on the weekends as well!

Niko Niko’s

Niko Niko’s

2520 Montrose Blvd. Houston, TX 77006

This local staple has been serving up high quality Greek food to hungry Houstonians for over 20 years! If there is a better gyro in Houston, I have yet to try it. Of course, that is just the tip of the iceberg in regards to Niko Niko’s selection. Every traditional Greek dish that you can imagine is represented, and very well at that, by Niko Niko’s expansive menu. They don’t just stop at lunch and dinner either. On weekends, from 10 AM- 1 PM, you can bask in their amazing breakfast and brunch items! There is a reason this restaurant is consistently on the receiving end of awards from Houston media outlets and you should find out why for yourself as soon as you can!

Beaver’s

Beaver’s

2310 Decatur St, Houston, TX 77007

The atmosphere at Beaver’s is very laid back and almost feels like a neighborhood pub, but the items on their menu are far and above typical pub fare. Beaver’s is all about taking traditional food items and turning them on their head! Specialty burgers, sandwiches, mac & cheese, and more make their menu feel familiar and innovate all at once. I used to be of the belief that your run of the mill Rueben was already perfected until I tried Beaver’s duck Rueben. I grew up on mac & cheese, but felt like I was having it for the first time again when I tried this restaurant’s mac etoufee! On top of all the great food, Beaver’s offers an amazing selection of microbrew beers and inventive cocktails!

Gourmet India

Gourmet India

13155 Westheimer Rd. Houston, TX 77077

Almost every item on Gourmet India’s menu is bursting with flavor. There is a lot to love about the food at this restaurant for taste buds of all sorts, but those with a flair for spice are especially in for a treat! If you have yet to try the cuisine from this part of the world, then you are truly missing out! Those with the desire to expand their food horizons should definitely give this Houston gem a shot. We can’t say enough about how delicious their chicken tikka masala is. If you are new to Indian cuisine then we recommend trying out their lunch buffet as it offers a wide range of traditional Indian dishes! The lunch buffet serves as the perfect crash course in Indian cuisine.
