For only $5 you can see this Houston gem live at Alley Kat performing songs from their superb album, Vaudeville. Ben & Jerry’s Texas Truck Tour
This Saturday at Discovery Green, Ben & Jerry’s Texas Tour makes a stop in Houston. Between 2:00 and 10:00 p.m. the famous ice cream company will be providing free scoops of their new Texas inspired flavors! All you have to do is vote for your favorite!
Houston Ride ‘n Shine
From 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch will be playing host to both modern and classic cars. There is surely no better way for a car enthusiast to kick off their weekend! The best part is that this event is completely free to attend!
Sunday, June 21
Summer Solstice Celebration
The celebration will begin bright and early with Tibetan yoga at 6:20 a.m. If that is too early for you, there will be a performance at sunset from Houston’s premier Japanese drumming group, Kaminari Taiko. The performance will begin at approximately 8:25 at the Rothko Chapel.
Twelve Angry Men
Pearl Theater’s live reenactment of this classic story is surely not one to be missed. Why not spend the day with dad catching a great play with fantastic local talent! The play starts at 3:00 p.m. and tickets range from $13 and $15.
